Converge is the middle school, high school, and college age young adults ministry of South Sound Foursquare Church. We serve a large age group (13-23) with the sole purpose of learning to allow God to take His rightful place in our lives. As number one.
Jesus tells us that we are to love God with all of our heart, our soul, and our mind. That truth should be more than words we say. It should show up in our daily lives. He should be first in our priorities, in our schedules, and in our efforts. He already gave everything for us, so we ought to give our best for Him.
Worship is a big piece of who we are. We believe that deep, uninhibited, and energetic worship is more than an element of a service. It is the way we are to live our every day lives.
We believe in discipleship. We belive it is a critical part of the great commission that Jesus gave us as He ascended into heaven. Our job as followers of Jesus is not only to go after Him with everything we have, but to then turn around and help those around us and coming behind us to learn to do the same in their lives.
